I'm bidding on a commercial job for ceiling repair/remodel in an indoor pool facility. The room has very high humidity and is kept very warm. Currently, there is popcorn on the ceiling and due to the humidity, it has been falling off in some areas. If we scrape the areas with loose popcorn, but leave other areas where the popcorn is stable, would the glue-on application work in this kind of environment without trapping moisture behind the tiles...or compromise the adhesive bond? Thanks
Hello Lori, Which design did you have in mind ?
We do not recommend using the styrofoam tiles for commercial spaces
as they are not class- a fire rated.
We do have faux tin tiles that are made of pvc and are water proof,
do not hold mold or mildew and are fire rated.
This is correct .
