Shanker Industries is proud to showcase the installation of a brand new, state of the art powder coating spray booth and curing oven. All of our painting is done in-house, allowing us to offer the highest quality products with the most competitive prices and fastest lead time in the industry. The powder coating process is not a liquid, but an actual powder that is sprayed on to each piece, using static electricity. Once the tiles are completely coated, they are carefully moved to the curing oven, where they actually bake for a predetermined amount of time.

In addition to offering hundreds of standard RAL powder coat colors, we can match every Benjamin Moore or Sherwin-Williams color as well. Powder coating finishes are far superior to liquid paint. It produces a coating twice as thick and durable as standard paint. There are also environmental advantages to powder coating versus liquid paint. Lead paint contains harmful solvents and VOCs that have been proven to deplete the ozone layer. Standard paint also produces hazardous waste that needs to be disposed in the proper manner. Powder coating is environmentally-friendly, since there are no solvents or VOCs produced from this process.
